Do you purchase fruits and vegetables only to find them moldy before you’ve eaten the last bite?
Fruits and veggies can harbor bacteria from the store and handling.
If you will rinse them and soak in a vinegar solution for about 15 minutes this will help the fruits and veggies last longer.
It works for me!
1. Rinse your veggies.
2. Place your veggies in a bowl. Add water to the bowl just covering the vegetables.
3. Pour approximately one cup of vinegar into the bowl.
4. Stir and let sit for 15-20 minutes
5. Rinse again and return to the original rinsed container.
